Richard Rossmann was born in Saalfelden, Austria. After graduating from the university of economics in Vienna, he took a job in Hamburg where he learned the art of television. Since then, he is working as a freelance producer for international TV and commercial productions around the globe. His debut documentary Ski Heil - The two boards that mean the world in 2009 screens internationally and wins awards in Paris and Seattle, USA. In 2014 Richard has been granted the Arts and Culture Award of the city of Salzburg. From 2016 till 2018 he is brand ambassador for Giorgio Armani. At the moment he is working on his fifth documentary project as independent filmmaker.
